ZUSHi Japanese Restaurants is a socially responsible company. We share the same values of our clients and we care about their health. Like you, our choices aim at protecting our health and safeguarding the environment that surrounds us.
The fish we use comes from certified suppliers and is always monitored by our inside biologist who examinesl every batch of fish on arrival. All the fish we use is blast chilled at - 40 degrees in appropriate blast chillers which eliminate any presence of bacteria or parasites and then it is thawed and served on the day; this process does not change the taste and compactness of the meat which remains like just fished.
At Zushi we only use species of fish that are not considered in risk of extinction, as the yellow fin tuna which we import and blast chill at -40 degrees to eliminate all bacteria like our strict H.A.C.C.P. Self control system. The yellow fin tuna that we use is very similar to the blue fin tuna (red tuna) which unfortunately is in risk of extinction.
Moreover, Zushi is closely following the developments of the situation of the species used to prepare our Sushi and we will do what is necessary to always maintain a responsible and eco-friendly position.
We are always informed of the situation through WWF (World Wildlife Fund), and other legitimate organizations that supply accurate information about the state of the wildlife in the world therefore............. BE GREEN...EAT SAFE...EAT ZUSHi !!! |
